JFK International Airport Redevelopment Program

Hirani Engineering provided a Construction Inspector to support ongoing Tenant and Port Authority (PA) Contract Work at John F. Kennedy International Airport, covering both airside and landside operations. The inspector ensured code compliance and quality assurance through comprehensive field inspections in accordance with the 2014 NYC Building Code, Port Authority specifications, and all other applicable jurisdictional codes.

Scope of Work Included:

  • Scheduled, coordinated, witnessed, and documented all field inspections and testing activities.

  • Prepared and distributed daily narratives, progress photos, and related documentation to report on-site progress.

  • Reviewed contractor means and methods for code compliance, safety, and suitability.

  • Evaluated baseline and updated construction schedules for accuracy and completeness.

  • Prepared and reviewed construction estimates.

  • Assessed periodic progress reports for accuracy and detail.

  • Monitored all construction activities for adherence to applicable codes and site-specific health and safety plans.
