Hirani Engineering is part of a multidisciplinary team delivering Construction Management, Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering, as well as Construction Inspection services for the comprehensive LaGuardia Airfield Reconfiguration Program.

The centerpiece of the project is the construction of a new terminal for Delta Air Lines, replacing the existing Terminals C and D. The new terminal will feature:

• 37 gates across four concourses

• A centralized check-in lobby, security checkpoint, and baggage claim

• Wider concourses

• 30% more concessions space than the previous terminals

In addition to the terminal, the project includes:

• Airfield reconfiguration and modifications

• Construction of associated roadways

• Expansion of the east garage

• Installation of a new electrical substation to support terminal operations

Hirani’s Role: Hirani is currently providing concrete and welding inspection services to ensure the structural integrity and quality of construction throughout the project. Their contribution supports the safe and timely delivery of this transformative upgrade to LaGuardia Airport’s infrastructure.
